Hey, I’m Chaitanya—a Data Consultant at Nuvera. I lead analytics and insights for the PURE Engagement program, turning data into real-world strategies that help make the patient experience smoother and more meaningful. I also dig into some exciting strategic work, from AI and market access to finding ways to optimize the patient treatment experience. I studied Engineering Management at Cornell and started out in Mechanical Engineering!

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

I’m at my most focused when I’ve got my noise-canceling headphones on and something playing in the background—usually a podcast or some hip-hop/rap. Total silence is actually distracting for me, so having a bit of background energy helps me get in the zone. I also try to work in 1-hour sprints, then take a quick pause to check in on progress before jumping into the next round. It keeps me motivated and on track

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?

If I could pick up any skill instantly, it would be speaking multiple languages. I’ve lived in a few different countries in Asia, and being able to fully connect with people in their own language would’ve made those experiences even more immersive. There’s something powerful about being able to blend into a place instead of feeling like a visitor

What three words would your friends use to describe you?

Witty, energetic, and reliable. At least, that’s what I hope my friends would say—and I think they’d be right!

What’s a trip that changed you, and why?

Every year, my family and I start the new year with a trip to Koh Rong, a quiet island in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of Cambodia. It’s one of those rare places that still feels untouched—clear water, soft white sand, and almost no crowds. Being there forces me to slow down and just take it all in. It’s where I first really learned to appreciate stillness. Since then, I’ve tried to chase more sunsets throughout the year. I’m not always consistent, but when I do catch one, it brings me back to that sense of calm

What led you to this career?

During the pandemic, like a lot of people, I started thinking more seriously about the healthcare system and how it affects people’s lives. I wanted to work on something that felt meaningful and had a profound impact. That’s what drew me to healthcare and life sciences—there’s so much opportunity to make innovative therapies and care more accessible, more human, and more effective
